unexplained time slip?
I don't know if you'd call this a glitch in the matrix or divine intervention, but my daughter & I experienced something tonight that we simply cannot explain!
We were taking her friend home, who lives 6 miles out of town in the country. It takes awhile to get there with the winding roads & all the deer out that way. We dropped him off & started to head home. Just down the road there were wide open fields on both sides of the road & I pointed out a deer in one of them. I mentioned to her how much I love the fields on both sides because you can clearly see what's coming, but that all of the winding roads ahead, a deer could jump out at any minute from the trees/bushes.
We had just started into the winding road section with all of the trees on both sides. By this time, we'd gone no more than a mile from where we'd dropped off her friend, BUT suddenly we were BACK IN TOWN!
I said to her, boy we got back into town fast & she agreed! It's legit like we SKIPPED 5 miles of drive time!
When we got home, I checked the clock (several clocks actually) & we had arrived at least 10 minutes EARLIER than we should have, if we'd actually driven the entire 6 miles! I have no explanation...all I can think is that perhaps, had we continued on for the next 5 miles, we may have been in a terrible accident, but we were spared. What are your thoughts?
